Presented by: Darla Sinclair, LCSW-C, EMDRIA Approved Consultant-In-Training
Course Description:
This 2+ hour training teaches you not only to “listen” in partnership with your clients but to also create “Parts” Based Interweaves that both meet your clients’ bodies where they are and allow for co-evaluation of their effectiveness. Expanding interweaves into the somatic realm means using the language of the body to “talk” with the body. In Phase 4, our clients’ bodies leave physiological “breadcrumbs,” leading the way to what is needed to help them reprocess their trauma more deeply and fully.
Content / Learning Objectives:
Participants will:
1. Describe psychoeducation and resourcing for Phases 1 & 2
2. Identify client physiological “Parts” in our brain’s defensive subsystem
3. Demonstrate Ego State Based Interweaves matching what is physiologically “stuck” in the client’s body
4. Summarize the effectiveness of Ego State Based Interweaves used in Phase 4
