Course Description:

This is an advanced EMDR training for clinicians who have been trained in EMDR but would like advanced tips and tricks to enhance their EMDR work. This training will cover advanced skills for all 8 phases in addition to ways to improve the use of cognitive interweaves, specialty protocols, and basic EMDR skills.

Content / Learning Objectives:  

1 - Recall, describe, and restore confidence to use the AIP model.

2 - Explain creative EMDR interventions to enhance client work.

3 - Restate and improve use of cognitive interweaves, protocols, and basic EMDR skills

10:30-11:30 Review of protocols – addiction, EMD, recent events

11:30-12:00 Review of EMDR basic skills – attunement, use of bilateral stimulation, dual awareness, assessing for dissociation

Training will take place Live on Zoom through Therapist Education Institute. Zoom link will be provided in course materials.

  • This workshop is intended for licensed mental health therapists who have completed an EMDRIA approved basic training. Skill level: Beginner/Intermediate. 
  • Prerequisite for EMDRIA Credits: Participants must have completed an EMDRIA Approved Basic training in EMDR (both Part I and Part II)
  • Certificates are awarded online after completion of the workshop - Participants print their own certificate after registering at CE-Classes.com, entering a keycode, and completing an evaluation form.
  • Licensed Professionals should contact their regulatory board to determine course approval
  • There is no known commercial support for this program.
